    1. Oh my, now I am waiting on two things this fall! Your book and my first born! I've really enjoyed your books. They have kept me company this week, while on bed rest. I look forward to reading more and more from you. It's extremely difficult to capture my attention, but this story did just that. Great job! ~Dani

    1. awww, your comment made me cry!!! Thank you! I was having a bad day until I saw this :)))

Crying is healthy and normal so please don't feel disturbed. While I was researching and writing some scenes in Possessed, I cried too :(.

  9. Although the last book was a little disturbing, I loved them! You have great talent. Did u have to study voodoo/ hoodoo to write these books or where'd you get the knowledge? Just curious. Is the next book the last one to the story? Thanks for writing them! Aloha.

    1. Aloha!!!Arelia's being read in Hawaii? I love the islands, so beautiful!!!

Hmm, what was disturbing about the last book the voodoo/hoodoo or the history?

I've always been interested in voodoo/hoodoo so I've been researching it forever. However, obviously, I put a fictional twist on it. I do spend a lot of time researching New Orleans history. The history part of the story is factual.

Hawaiian culture is also filled with so many cool myths and stories, books about it would be awesome!!

Thank you for your message! I'm happy you're enjoying the books. No, book #4 is not the last one :P

Your series is wonderful. Never really thought I would like the voodoo hoodoo thing, but I do!!! Thanks to you and your amazing stories. I am hooked. Cant wait to see where you take this....Downloaded the first one to see if I would like it. Read in less than a day, and then downloaded the other two, which were quickly read as well.

  12. Hi Kira,
This is my first read of your work, and I have read all three of the LaRue books. I found them to be a good read, but I was disappointed in all three of the endings (the lack of). I would have made all of them, including the one not available yet, one book.
It is not fair, did I really just say that, to leave each book open ended and expect us to buy the next, and the next just to get to sell books when they are not stand alone books. When they are good stand alone books you want to read all Kira Saito books, not just buy this series to see how the story ends.

    1. Hi there! Thank you for your message and reading the books. I'm so sorry you are reading the books "just to see how the story ends" as that totally defeats the purpose/point/message of the books all together.

If you honestly feel I write my books as I do in order to get you to "buy the next, and the next just to get to sell books" please feel free to stop reading my books. I do not think anyone should support something they believe "is not fair". Thank you!!!

  13. Hello Happyreader!!! Sorry you feel this way about the series. Personally I see NOTHING wrong with it. Afterall, that is what a series is about. It consumes and overtakes your mind, body, and soul while reading it and you go through endless emotions too! It leaves you wondering and guessing what will happen with the story and characters! It has NOTHING to do with the sales. Kira Saito is a wonderful, brilliant, and sweet writer and there is NOTHING wrong with her books. I believe some things are better left unsaid. Like the saying goes, "IF YOU HAVE NOTHING NICE TO SAY THEN SAY NOTHING AT ALL!" I don't mean to come off rude but I don't believe that one person's opinion should ruin a GOOD thing. Thank you! Xoxo
P.S. Why did you continue buying and reading them if they were so awful? Just saying! :)Isabella

  18. Omg I'm so addicted and can't wait for more!! <3 I'm glad I stumbled onto your first book. I actually got it because it was on free download and i 've been tryin to get into new authors and I'm so glad I did! I fell in love! I've read all 3 in 3 days, and they've kept this stay at home (and soon to be new mom again) captivated and entertained! I love how descriptive you are and how you make me feel as if I was the one living her life. I love the detail in your writing and the history to it. I'm so impatiently waiting the new book! Reading from Virginia =)

  20. Aside from the need to have a professional editor, to avoid the many errors (my eternal pet peeve), I love this series! Just like any other series, you have cliff hangers, so for anyone to be upset by it is just plain ridiculous. Although it's not necessarily your traditional series where each book is a stand a lone book, MANY out there are exactly the same. My favorite and best example... "Lord of the Rings" was one long story split into three books. Anyway, I'm anxiously awaiting book 4 for my kindle! I hope it's sooooooooon!!!!
